Who We Help: Therapy in San Diego & Online Across California
Your story is unique. Your healing journey can be, too.
Below are some of the concerns and life seasons we often help clients navigate. Let’s explore together what you’re experiencing, what you’re hoping for, and whether we might be a good fit for your journey.

Trauma Survivors
You Survived. Now You Can Begin to Rebuild.
Leaving a toxic relationship, recovering from neglect or abuse, or navigating a difficult life event after trauma takes courage, time, and intentional care. You may be ready to process what happened, rebuild your life, and rediscover the person you are beyond what you have experienced.
Healing doesn’t mean becoming who you were before. It can mean becoming more fully who you are.

What We Can Offer
We provide a safe, collaborative space to help you process difficult experiences, rebuild a sense of safety and trust, and reconnect with your strengths and authentic self. Together, we may work toward healthier self-confidence and self-esteem, greater emotional stability, stronger boundaries, and more choice in how you live your life. We also make space for grief—the loss of relationships, expectations, or parts of yourself—and explore how you can move forward with greater clarity and meaning.
Our approach is tailored to your needs and may include EMDR, IFS/parts work, Polyvagal-informed therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and ACT. EMDR is always an option when you feel prepared and ready. We begin with safety, preparation, and readiness before moving into trauma processing, and EMDR can be incorporated into weekly therapy or an intensive program when it fits your needs.
Why We May Be a Good Fit
We believe trauma therapy should fit you—not the other way around. With EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapy and a range of evidence-informed approaches, we can tailor treatment from symptom relief and gaining more control in your present life to deeper, comprehensive trauma work as you are ready for it.

Teens & Adolescents
When Everything Feels Like a Lot
You may feel stressed, overwhelmed, or like there is too much happening at once. Between school, friendships, family expectations, relationships, and figuring out who you are, it can be hard to know what you’re feeling—or how to talk about it.
“Growing up is not about having all the answers. It’s about discovering yourself along the way.”
Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, academic pressure, identity questions, relationship challenges, or emotions that feel bigger than you know how to handle.

What We Can Offer
Teen therapy provides a safe, supportive space to understand emotions, build coping skills, strengthen confidence, and navigate relationships and life changes.
Sessions may include CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, IFS/parts work, somatic approaches, EMDR, and creative interventions such as art and music.
We may also include small, practical between-session exercises to help teens practice and carry what they learn in therapy into everyday life. We also provide parent support and education to help parents better understand their teen, strengthen connection, and learn how to support their teen’s emotional growth at home.
Young Professionals
Finding Your Way in a Season of Change
You may be doing your best to build a life you’re proud of, yet still feel uncertain about where you’re headed. Maybe you’re navigating singlehood, dating, a breakup, career stress, work-life balance, or questions about who you are and what you really want.
“You are not behind. You are becoming.”

What We Can Offer
Therapy provides a space to slow down, gain clarity, and explore what matters most to you. We may work on relationships and dating, boundaries, self-confidence, career and life transitions, identity, purpose, and work-life balance, while helping you recognize your strengths and make choices that feel more aligned with who you are becoming.
Approaches may include CBT, ACT, IFS/parts work, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and EMDR when appropriate.
Leaders & High Performers
When Success Still Doesn’t Feel Like Enough
You may be successful, responsible, and someone others rely on—yet inside, you’re constantly questioning yourself. Maybe you’re dealing with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, burnout, high-functioning anxiety, or the persistent feeling that “I should be doing more” or “I’m still not good enough.”
“You don’t have to prove your worth through your performance. Your worth is already there.”

What We Can Offer
Therapy provides a space to step out of constant striving and reconnect with what matters to you. Together, we may work on self-criticism, perfectionism, anxiety, burnout, confidence, boundaries, work-life balance, and the pressure to perform, while exploring patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Approaches may include CBT, ACT, IFS/parts work, mindfulness, somatic approaches, Polyvagal-informed therapy, and EMDR when appropriate.
Mothers
Caring for Everyone Can Make It Easy to Lose Yourself
You may love your family deeply while feeling stretched, overwhelmed, or unsure where you fit in all the roles you carry. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom needing space for yourself, a working mom trying to balance it all, or a mom adjusting to a new relationship with your growing or young-adult children, your needs and emotions matter, too.
“Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It’s part of caring for the people you love.”

What We Can Offer
Therapy provides a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and navigate the changing seasons of motherhood. We may explore anxiety, cultural and social expectations, family expectations, self-care, boundaries, work-life balance, identity, relationships, and transitions as your children grow.
Approaches may include CBT, ACT, IFS/parts work, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and EMDR when appropriate.
Couples
Growing Together Through Life’s Changes
You love each other, but sometimes communicating feels harder than it used to. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, adjusting to becoming parents, or navigating conflict and changes in your relationship, you may find yourselves feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in the same patterns.
“A strong relationship isn’t about never struggling; it’s about learning how to find your way back to each other.”

What We Can Offer
Couples therapy provides a space to understand each other more deeply, strengthen communication, and reconnect emotionally. Our approach is attachment-informed and EFT-informed, and may incorporate the Gottman Method, Prepare/Enrich, and other evidence-informed approaches.
Together, we may explore communication, conflict, emotional needs, trust, boundaries, family roles, and cultural and social expectations that can shape how you experience your relationship. Sessions are available weekly or in a 2–3 hour intensive format, depending on your needs and schedule.

Asian American Families
When Love, Culture, and Expectations Feel Complicated
You love your family, but sometimes it feels like you’re speaking different languages—even when you are speaking the same one. Differences in culture, acculturation, family expectations, communication styles, or relationships with in-laws can create tension, misunderstanding, or distance between the people you care about most.
“We can honor where we come from while making space for who we are becoming.”
